Happy Fall!

We enjoyed a few busy weekends...flew to Nebraska for my cousin's wedding, visited the pumpkin patch, visted the Arboretum and enjoyed the last warm weather of the season.

Lauren did great on the flight out to Omaha. This was her second time to fly. She played and ate snacks and before we knew it, we had landed. It was a beautiful wedding at a farm lodge in Nebraska City. It was fun to see our family. While we were there, we took a walk with Grandma and Grandpa through the Apple Orchard and the woods. Lauren loves walking everywhere and rarely wants to be contained in her stroller anymore.

Our flight was a bit delayed on the way home (not to mention it was during naptime as well.) But Lauren was happy to entertain herself in the airport by walking around in Mommy's shoes. She thought it was soooo funny.

On Columbus Day, we visited one of the many pumpkin farms near our house. Lauren really enjoy the train ride and got to ride with both Mommy and Daddy. She also liked petting the animals, but didn't really like the goats chasing her. She was okay with it as long as Mommy was holding her.

Lauren has a lot of "favorites" right now. She loves to get "dressed" before we go anywhere, which includes putting on her hat and as many ring bracelets and she can stack on each arm. It's pretty funny. She also enjoys reading stories. Everynight we read lots and lots of stories before bed. Lauren knows most of her animal sounds now and can pretty much read "What do you Say" by herself (well, sort of.) Watch her read with Daddy here. She also loves to "get you" and be chased. We love watching Lauren grow and change everyday. We're looking forward to Holiday Season with her. Thanks for checking in on us.
