Happy Thanksgiving!

We have so much to be thankful for this holiday season, but we are most thankful for our beautiful daughter. She has grown and changed so much over the last year and we love her more every day. We are really looking forward to sharing another holiday season with her. I'm sure she's going to love Christmas this year!

We've had a busy few weeks since our last update. We took Lauren to visit the DuPage Children's Museum. What a great place! We will be definitely spending some of the cold winter days there. Lauren really enjoyed the water room. She also loved the music room and all the building blocks. It was a very busy and fun morning!

The next weekend, Lauren got to visit the Kohl's Children's Museum with Daddy and Nonny while Mommy and Trulie enjoyed a Spa Day in the city! She was like a little Iowa farm girl pushing her wheelbarrow, milking the cows and brushing the horses. We spent the evening visiting the Simpsons. Lauren and Jessie had a great time playing together. It's so cute to watch

them grow up together...I'm sure they will become great friends (and likely troublemakers together!) Jessie recently celebrated her 1st birthday!

Lauren is so funny these days. I caught some very cute video of her dancing. Well, her daddy thinks it's more like "lurching" than dancing, but it looks like natural talent to me! Watch her here.

After we took this video, Lauren sat on her floor and did the same thing over and over again, laughing away. It's really the simpliest things in life that give her the most pleasure. So sweet. I can never get enough of that little laugh.
