We've had a few big snowfalls already. We're hoping that it sticks around for Christmas (but then can promptly melt!) Lauren enjoyed playing in the snow for the first time (sort of!) She wasn't exactly sure of walking on it and preferred to stand on the driveway and touch the snow with her hands. It was pretty funny.
The last few weeks have been very busy. We spent Thanksgiving in Iowa enjoying lots of family time. We also celebrated Grandpa Rowe's 80th birthday!! It was nice to have so many members of our family in town for the occassion. Below are a few photos from the party...

Lauren had a great time playing at Meemaw and Papa's house. She got to play with Nick and Stephanie all week. She still loves to talk about Nick. They played really well together. I think she is looking forward to spending a week there by herself while we're in Puerto Vallarta.
We've been busy getting ready for the holidays! This past weekend Lauren helped me make cookies. She loved decorating with the sprinkels and M&Ms. (I think more M&Ms were eaten than were put on cookies.) Enjoy this cute video. (Click here.) And yes for everyone doubting my baking abilities, the cookies were delicious!! (Must've been the mixer and the new ovens.)
In between all the sloppy weather we got this weekend, we were able to get out and enjoy the zoo lights at Cosley Zoo near our house. Lauren was most exicted to see the goats and horses again.
We are looking forward to hosting the entire Mead family for Christmas at our house this year. And then enjoying a little get away to Mexico for a few days. Thanks for checking in on us and Happy Holidays to you!
